Instructions for DCC Operation of Class 201 Lights

Due to the design of the Powered Circuit Board (PCB),it is not possible to switch the RED marker lights on/off independently with DCC control. All other lights can be controlled via DCC control.

Procedure to run the loco with red marker lights off:

1) Move manual RED marker light switch to OFF(located under No.1 end above bogie).
2) Switch on F0 & F1 for WHITE marker lights. They will operate directionally.

Procedure to run the loco with red marker lights on:

1) Move manual RED marker light switch to ON (located under No.1 end above bogie).
2) Switch on F0 & F1 for WHITE and RED marker lights. They will operate directionally.

Headlights & Cab Lights

1) Press F2 to switch on/off headlights. They will operate directionally.
2) Press F3 to switch on/off the cab light on one end and F4 to switch on/off the cab light on the opposite end. Cab lights are independent and non directional.

Note: The PCB design is of typical European style(our Cl.141/181 locos have a similar PCB)and will be redesigned for our forthcoming Cl.071 loco and,if feasible, for later versions of Cl.201 to allow the red lights to be controlled by DCC.
